  1. That last response is a joke. If you are bringing in alot of carbs and only doing 50 push ups and crunches then you are going to packing on some weight.

    Here is my question to you, how old are you, and what position do you/or want to play?


  2. Buddy as a Centre you want to work on your core area, stamina, tackling and passing.  There is no fitness however like match fitness.  Train harder than every person around you.  Start half an hour early and train half an hour later.  Raw talent only gets so far.  Go hard bro!!!

  3. im being completly honest i play rugby weekly for my club and have been scouted by my county so im at a good standard and know my stuff and the first answers are right read them and do what they say

  4. 50 crunches and push-ups a day.  Lots of carbohydrates and protein.

  5. Rugby being a hard and tough sport,the player needs a lot of stamina and strength.For stamina

    jogging for long distances,of course starting from 1/2 km and gradually stepping up the distance.100m sprints should also be a part of the routine.For strength and muscles,there is nothing like pumping iron.Go to a gym and train under a qualified instructor both for weight lifting and toning your muscles through aerobics.

    As for diet go for high protein and calcium diet.

    Avoid all junk food and only ingest good healthy

    stuff with spinach and salads etc.Here too the gym instructor should be able to guide you

    for a proper regimen.

  6. do a lot of running and endurance training for your stamina. it's kinda like football (i think). yeah, so do a lot of running, push up (if you're gonna wrestle for the ball), abs; crunching etc... but the most important i thinks or running to build your stamina. it's a rough sport though, think about it before you want to play.
