First of all, the Bible isn't six thousand years old. The universe is, but the Bible isn't. The Old Testament only dates back to about 1800 B.C. The collection of books to be called the "Bible" was assembled about 300 A.D. It was called the "scriptures." So, the "Africans" were there since the tower of Babel when God dispersed all the people all over the earth and created different languages. This happened because they tried to build a tower to Heaven and God told them to stop. The Babelonians didn't listen and God made them each a different language so they couldn't communicate with anyone outside their families anymore. And therefore couldn't build their tower. So, the Bible came after the "Africans". but they weren't called africans untill after the region of Africa was established and labeled Africa by whoever discovered it.
