  5. Yes, if your letter has the required postage on it, you can drop it in there and it will head off to its destination.

    You can even mail a package through the blue boxes if it is small enough. Stamped packages must be less than 13 ounces, and packages with computer-printed postage may be heavier, but they have to fit through the little door.

  6. Yes, you are going out the right way.  Just make sure you have the correct amount of postage on the letter you're sending.
