The big oil companies can pipe oil /gas/fuel around every continent, why can't countries pipe WATER 2 Africa?

Surely this is possible, to pipe water to drought stricken areas?

yes they know if they have kids they are more likely to get free handouts its like when the imigrants come over here if they have kids they get houses & benifits but our kids have to wait on the list for years just becouse they havent had kids and they have jobs

They can. Why would they want to. I don't give out free quarters to every bum who asks me do I ? Am I supposed to feel sorry for people that don't spend their time on things more important to civilization than making babies? Is this not the problem? They have not advanced very far beyond monkies in the jungle while everyone around them has for a reason, they are lazy, and why should the lazy be rewarded by those who haven't been? Water is not the main problem, it is water retention in the soil. Soil in many droughted countries amounts to little more than sand and dust. It retains little or no water and little or no nutrients.

I think it would be far better if the more affluent nations of the world were to take a foot of soil off every field and transport that to Africa etc. But people will say the cost would be too much.

Edit:  Sorry if I implied the oil companies were doing it.  I was just showing it is and can be done.  Also, in agriculture water is moved all over the place, more likely done with canals than pipes as it's a lot less expensive.
