The bobbin grinds when I start to so

Question

The bobbin makes a grinding noise when I start to sew. Especilly when I am doing a fancy stitch like applique. Once the machine is running, it doesn't grind anymore but evetually the bobbin thread get bound up underneath.I took it into the shop for repair, they reseaded the bobbin case and said it was fine. It still does not work though.
