  1. Distal means furthest from the torso, while proximal means closest to the body.  The trapezium.  Trick question?  I guess from these choices I would say meacarpal 1.  Your teacher should rephrase the question.


  2. Actually, it would be the trapezius.  But of these, it would be metacarpal 1.
