The book Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz, I have a question?

I am reading the series blue blood. But I have no clue what it is about. I don't understand what it's purpose is. What is going on? Anyone that has read it, can you please explain.

Yes, I understand that it might be confusing because the narrater changes frequently. A couple of things to recognize is that there's complicated love triangles, their are some big problems within the vampires right now, the first book is really difficult to understand because she throws so many things out there. The second book masquerade, calms down a bit and then you will understand. But the biggest point is the "fallen angels" must battle the evil and the need schuyler's mom to wake up because she is very powerful, but that will cause more problems because she has a lot of boyfriends. Good luck and if all else fails read the books again!
