  1. Well if I'm reading a book that has high vocabulary, I just keep a dictionary close.

  2. Hon, there's such a thing as a dictionary....and I cannot legitimately answer your question, having been an avid reader my entire life and therefore understanding all the vocabulary Meyers uses. I wouldn't say that you're stupid, just...not well-versed in literature.

    Omnipresent: present all the time.

    Verbose: Very wordy

    Scanty: Not much of

    Dejected: Sad

Sallower: Sallow - typically a skin tone, usually a yellowish, unhealthy one.

Precariously: Dangerously, sort of like teetering on the edge of a cliff dangerously.

  3. i think you should get a dictionary and keep it close while ur reading.

or while ur readin keep a notebook and pen close make the list of the words u dont know. when u finish the book look it up n the dictionary and once u know what they means , read the book again

i know i know sounds horrible. but look im in college and i well dont know much english i did this. with the twilight series and trust me i learn lot of vocab

omnipresent- refer to the quality of being everywhere. Omnipresent emphasizes in a lofty or dignified way the power, usually divine, of being present everywhere at the same time, as though all-enveloping: Divine law is omnipresent. Ubiquitous is applied to that which seems to appear in many and all sorts of places, or in an undignified or humorous way is “all over the place,” often when unwanted: A bore seems to be ubiquitous.

    verbose- talkactive

    scanty-insufficiency or deficiency in quantity

    dejected-discouraged

    sallower-couldnt find that ne sorry

  4. Just to let you know, Meyer thesaurus rapes her books.

  5. Stupid is a strong way to say it, i would say that you just dont know the words... I knew them at your age, but I have a way above average vocabulary due to my addiction to books. Just read more, my friend! You will learn more.

    here's what they mean:

Omnipresent: In this case, it means that it presses down on you. It seems to be everywhere.

Verbose: Eager to say things, a talker.

    Scanty: not much of.

    Dejected: Disappointed

    Sallower: Sick looking, unhealthy

Precariously: Imagine someone teetering on a log. They are about to fall off. They are in a precarious situation.

  6. dejected is srta like rejected it.and they were all in the 1st chapter? weird I really dont notice vocab like that I just skip iit and u can prtty much tell wat they r saying from the context clues. and sallow means pale

  7. Maybe you should read better books [ie, NOT twilight] to increase your vocab.

  8. Thats weird, im 13 too and dont get all these so dont worry, but i didnt notice them while reading!!! I must have been to into it lol!!!

    dejected- dissapointed basicllay?

sallower- i duno how to describe sorry!

    precariously- carefully?
