i dont get the part he takes about marriage he says

fill each other cup but drink not from one cup

give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf

dont u fell tht is strange i mean y not can some1 explain

  1. What he means is that you need to maintain your own individuality while maintaining your relationship....do not allow yourself to be all consumed by your mate.  Keep your sense of self and not lose your own identity.


  2. When he speaks of filling each others cup and not drinking from one to me means:   Allow your wife and yourself to grow and learn and than use each others knowledge.  

    As for the bread: Each partner should work for their profits so each may enjoy sharing their proceeds.

  3. It means to still be independent from each other for your basic needs. You and your husband/wife can survive without each other perfectly, but by staying together, you are fulfilling life's goal.
