I was wondering if anyone knew how to compare these two books; the similarities, images shown in the books, characters, conflicts, settings.. anything really that draws the two together. I'm supposed to write an essay on this and I could really use some ideas to get started on it. Please no dumb answers thanks so much :)

  1. Both books are about racial tensions and prejudice.  There are numerous on line resources to help you with TKAM, and with questions such as this one.  Many of them offer chapter summaries, list of characters, character sketches, discussions of themes, setting, imagery, and symbolism, etc.  Do a search for “study guides for To Kill a Mockingbird” etc., and you will find many sites.  Also, do a search here on yahoo answers for To Kill a Mockingbird and you will find a wealth of information.
