The bottom bar in the bottom of my facebook (that shows online friends) is missing. how do i get it back?

Im having the same problem. Im not sure whats up. Maybe their doing something like maintenance or something...

It's been in maintenance today. It should be back up if you check right now though.

I'm on Facebook right now, and that's what it says on mine as well. If you roll over the box with your mouse it says that Facebook Chat is unavailable because it's undergoing maintenance or something. Try again in like a half hour, and it should be working again.

i sometimes get that

it just means that the facebook chat is unavailable for a short time

after a few minutes it should come back up
