The bottom of my pots and pans have are black. How do I get this off?

The black is on the outside of the pots and pans. I have tried to scrub hard with soap and a pad but nothing seems to work.

  1. Oven cleaner and elbow grease


  2. Use some oven cleaner, and then rub off with steel wool.

  3. SOS pad depending on the texture of the pots and pans.

  4. to clean the pots on the outside use baking soda, for the inside boil some cream of tarter with water for about 10minutes.

  5. spray on oven cleaner

  6. A little elbow grease and so SOS pads or some Comet Cleaner and scrub, scrub, scrub.

    They will be good as new.

  7. A Brillo or SOS pad along with a little elbow grease should

    take care of any blackness on your pans.  Even soap and

    water may do the job.
