  1. the current developed countries are Brasil,Argentina Mexico.

  2. depends on what you mean by developed. If you mean it has the most infrastructure total it is probably tied with Mexico. If you mean most infrastructure vs. unused lands it is one of the least developed because of the Amazon.

The most developed country in Latin America would probably be Cuba. Brazil would be considered an upper echelon 3rd world country along with Mexico though.

  3. I think Chile is the most developed country in Latin America at this moment, Brazil & Mexico might reach higher numbers due to it's bigger population (Brazil 190 million, Mexico 110 million while Chile has 18 million).

Chile has the biggest Gross Internal Production in Latin America but obviously can't produce as much as countries 10 times bigger in population. "Don't confuse quantity with quality"

A highly developed country seeks new markets for its products and it could be something untangible like a franchise. I don't think Cuba fits in that category.

  4. Well, in terms of social development, I think that Chile is the most developed country.

But, in terms of numbers, there's not cmparision with any other: brazilian numbers are giants, like the territory.

See the CIA factbook and compare the quantity of Internet hosts, TVs, radio stations, airports, cars, hospitals, schools, universities, industries, etc.

See the GDP, which is the 8th of the world, after the "G7", only.

Brazil is one of the few nations who possess technology to build nuclear submarines and space rockets. Brazil became member of the ISS and have its own space programm.

Brazilian researches in genetics, clonning and genoma are among the most advanced in the world.

Brazilian universities receives students from many places of the world (not only from Africa, or the so-called Latin America) for undergraduation or master/doctor degree. I saw some cases of scandinavians and - believe! -  russians, who got their PhD in nuclear engineering in a brazilian university. Then,... what do you think?

  5. I think so.

I do know that Ecuador isnt tho.

  6. yes, though argentina is also right up there

  7. Of course it is!

It's still a scary place! Have you heard of all the kidnappings and drugging/robbing of tourist?

s***w that, I'd rather visit Argentina or even Mexico (Cancun).

  8. No, Chile is. Then you can choose Brazil or Argentina, and the Venezuela.

Brazil has grow a lot in this years, but have a lot to grow. And, its growing fast, and solid. So, we'll see soon a great country born to be greatest.

  9. Brazil is the most developed country.

It is just like any European country in wealth and cleanliness.

Argentina is almost it's equal though.

  10. Brazil probably is.
