  1. http://www.mydrafthorse.com/cfwebstore/i...

    great company to deal with

  2. you can use "naval jelly" to convert the rust to iron oxide and then it can be scrubbed off however it is phosphoric acid and gloves and eye protection must be used.or you can just use good old coca cola and let them soak for a while then scrub off the rust with steel wool.if your buckles are rusting you can replace them with bronze buckles so they dont rust(and they are just as strong)but keep your buckles clean and oiled with a good oil or grease.

  3. if the buckles aren't chrome plated, you can oil them to prevent rust.  Use any sort of lubricant oil, like motor oil.  there is oil specifically made for knives, and that would work well too.  As far as the nylon, I'd talk to a saddler or someone with access to a heavy duty sewing machine.  Also, before you oil the buckles, you can give them a light sanding to get rid of the extra rust.  Make sure that you check the rusted buckles for faliure due to that rust!  Good luck!

  4. that means it is to old. Buy a new one or you horse can devolpe  back pain.
