  1. what you are watching most likely on the east coast of USA is called bull raking or storm raking.aluminum poles slid inside each others with 6'"slits in two places on one end for 3 hose clamps to hold poles together.poles are 12' long ,10' is used before being clamped,up to 8 poles may be used.takes two guys or electric hauler to get gear back on board,they target little neck clams,from 1' depth to 55' depth.NYS when I first started had 14,500 diggers on both sides of LI now I am one of 300 active diggers left.Why? The free trade agreement signed by Clinton killed the prices of fish,clams,shrimp,and all.even our farmers got nailed.add our factorys in and now you know why our country is falling apart.
