The caps are getting ice girls?

"spirit squad" as they are being called, oh great

what would you think if your team got ice girls? anybody know the first team to have them?

The Penguins already have 'em. They're just a bunch of annoying bimbos who probably don't know what "offsides" even means............

The Dallas Stars have had them for I believe 3 years now. I don't really notice them they just skate onto the ice occasionally and scoop up the ice and wave. Their not bad though.

They don't bother me, They are hot. Are you getting dancers or ice girls. They help in between periods, and they look good. so why complain.

What's what wrong ice girls? From what i hear from my guy friends their "eye candy" who will take pictures with you if you ask.

Plus, they skate out on the ice during intermission and throw free things at you... Why are you complaining?! lol

They have them at the high school tournament in Minnesota and nobody seems to complain about it there. Then again, at least those girls can skate.

I don't know that I would like it if the Canadiens had "ice girls" but at least we'd have many pretty women in the crowd and throughout Quebec to choose from.

My local CHL team has "ice girls" though and one of them goes to the same college as I do. And no, she's not a s**t.

The Panthers have what they call the Diamond girls. They are sponsored by a jeweler. They are a "dance" troop. They really can't dance at all and do not look good either. Not to mention they get in the sight lines when play is going on. The fans down here hate them . They are always the lowest rated thing on season ticket holder surveys. Yet they keep bringing them back. They "throw "  t-shirts too. But really they have no arms. They have guys and kids shovel the snow on the ice instead. They used to have a Panther patrol that was girls and guys they were the best.

I think it's a shame. People are going to go to hockey games to see cheerleaders now, not for the fun of the game. Plus, hockey players will easily be distracted by their chants and dancing. I totally think that this is a disgrace to hockey.

My team has the ice girls, called The Pack.

Just what we need more of in the NHL, Hot girls that no men attending the games will ever have a chance at.
