The careers with the best medical benefits?

I was just wondering what careers are known to guarantee that you can get medical benefits...aside from military or state, federal jobs. What other careers make good on their promise for medical? I know teacher and anything in the medical profession will..and i know that CEOs and engineers and really lucrative professions obviously do..that's a no brainer..

The reason I ask is because I am a cook and no matter where i work no place offers benefits and if they do they only offer to full time and then they purposely schedule for part time hours so you don't draw from the plan. It seems like this is the case for a lot of jobs actually...that the benefits are too expensive or not attainable.

  1. jobs with risk..........

  2. As far as non-salary jobs, Starbucks, AMC theatres, and Blockbuster all offer health insurance to part-time employees.  But again, I believe you have to work at least a certain amount of hours a week.  I'm wanting to say BB was reasonable, like 20-25 hours.  But, even if you work 40 hours most weeks, most employers like them classify as a "part-time" employee.  Because of this, companies pay less of your insurance so it costs you a lot more to join.
