  1. Next time to help out the answers, it would be best to include the equation or its name. Good thing I have no life. I believe this is the equation you need:

    dN/dt = (rmax) *N *((K-N)/K)

    K = carrying capacity N = population size  

    rmax= intrinsic rate of increase

    dN/dt= population growth rate

    dN/dt = (.01)(400)((500-400)/500)

    dN/dt = 0.8
