They may be much cheaper with the price of the dollar but there are not many companies importing cars from the US to ireland/england compared to japan for example for the reason that american cars are left hand drive,

So its gona more expensive to get it over here and then you will have to pay VRT on the list price of the car,

Also insurance may be an issue with the left hand drive car.
