The cassette hub on the rear wheel wont turn either direction. What can i do to fix it?

The wheel is brand new, i took the cassettes off the old wheel and put it on the new one. The new hub worked when i bought it so what has gone wrong and how can i fix it?

To get an answer you need to give more information such as:  What cassette are you fitting 7-8-9-10?  What cassette is the new wheel built to fit?  What make of hub and cassette are you trying to fit?

You say it is new, therefore, take it back to the shop where you bought it and get them to fit your cassette.  It takes 5 Min at most and would not cost much.  Sorry, that's the best I can do with the information.

You likely did not install a thin spacer on the freehub before you installed the cassette. Look on your old freehub you'll probably find it there.
