The cat has bits of light brown fur on her and shes fully black..?

is there something wrong with her? shes been like this for a long time now and it doesn't seem to go away?

Sounds like its her coloring. Is she ok otherwise? I wouldn't worry unless she looks like she is having fur loss or skin problems of some kind.

The bits of light brown fur is really red sometimes referred to as *orange* by non breeders.

Answerer one  was correct:  Red and black make a tortie which is short for tortoiseshell.

She is a tortoise shell cat. It is basically a black calico. She will be perfectly fine, its just another color.
