  1. In all do respect regarding your friend if they truly loved the cat they would not let it be only up to their mother to look after it. It being a member of their house it really ought to be looked after by everyone. There is no excuse for your friend. Ethically, however, I don't think it would be the best idea to let the cat live with you.

The best compromise in your situation would be to simply put a  box with warm linens in for the cat at a desecrate spot along with a little food. Show the cat this place next time it tries to enter your house.

Remember it is only looking for love and survival. It isn't trying to do harm.

If this doesn't work consider talking to your best friend about what's been going on and how you feel about the cat's health.

  2. just when it come ur door feed it and stuff and if ur friend keeps doing that take the cat and explain why u did to ur friend

  3. I'd treat the cat like it was mine.

  4. I wouldn't care what any one thought. Id give the cat food and shelter for as long as necessary. I cant see anything wrong with feeding the poor thing or giving it warmth and shelter.

  5. i would suggest u go over and talk to ur friend, ask her if she really does care for the cat or its just an object to her.  maybe she doesn't even want it.  u could ask her if u could have it and that she can see it if she wants to. poor kitty it probably feels hungry, afraid, and sad that no one pays any attention to it.

  6. I think you should talk to the owner of the cat and just explain to them whats been going on and explain to them that you don't need another cat right now (for whatever reason) and your concerned about the cat. If the problem persists, maybe you should just take the cat in. I mean really, they dont eat that much.

  7. Are you putting down your friends ability to care for their cat?

  8. Feed it outside the house, and when it rains let it inside.

I let my cats out when it snows though!

They're good at finding shelter so don't worry to much.

  9. Alot of cats work their way around the neighbourhood.  You can do an inbetween, feed the cat and play with it.  Eventually it will decide where it wants to live.  I am sure your best friend won't mind if she only lives over the road and can visit the cat.
