Mitosis involves micro-tubules

Name the protein from which micro-tubules are constructed.

Please help, I've got a vague idea but I need a definite answer please :)

  1. Microtubules are built as polymers of α- and β-tubulin hetro-dimers. Basically subunits of α and β tubulin join together to form the heterodimer. The heterodimers then link up in long chains. The process is described fairly well on the wikipedia link below.
