The centralized air condition in my 6 yr. old home blows warm air when on. Any advise before calling a tech.?

check your outside unit breaker and check the inside unit float switch in condesation pan.

check the coils if not that your low on freon

check the filters in the blower/furnace.  Dirty filters can make the unit  freeze up because of reduced air flow and stop cooling.

If they are dirty replace and turn the A/C off for several hours to thaw

It sounds like you need freon or your condenser is going out.  Hope that helps.
