  1. Work this out.  The car with three more passengers paid an extra $6, so how much is it per passenger?  Then if one car with 2 passengers is $15, how much is the set fee for the car?  Then you can figure out the answer to the final question.

    Actually, you could do it even quicker.   The car with three more passengers paid an extra $6, so how much is it per passenger?   The car with 5 passengers is $21, so how much is the car with six (one extra passenger)?

    11.00 per car + (2.00 x 2 passengers) = 15.00

    11.00 per car + (2.00 x 5 passengers) = 21.00

    11.00 per car + (2.00 x 6 passengers) = 23.00
