Rephrase the question - are you looking for a cheap website (most are free anyway)  or a cheap hotel in Dublin (of which there are many) or a website that offers discounted rates and if so which website offers the best/cheapest discounted rates for hotels in Dublin? Taking a wild guess, I'd say putting 'cheap hotels dublin' into Yahoo! (or any) search engine will throw up more than one web site, maybe as many as 2 million! Then you take about an hour searching and you'll find some decent discounted rates or decent cheap hotels. Credit card handy and book hotel. Alternatively, wait about three days and get more answers like this.

Can I recommend the Drury Court Hotel in the city centre?  It's 3* but you get a very nice breakfast and the rooms are perfectly nicely done out with good bathrooms.  There is a multi-storey car park across the road where you can park if you're driving (though it is expensive, you can get a discount if you're staying at the hotel), and it really is in the heart of the city.  I seem to recall we paid about £66 per room per night, and that was on a weekend.

My boyfriend and I stayed there last December and we parked our car and didn't move it the whole time as you could walk everywhere from the hotel - brilliant!  It offers really good value for money for its location.

I seem to remember we booked ours through Hotels.com but to be honest you'd probably be as well just booking direct through the hotel's own website.

If you do want to shop around though, Hotels.com sometimes offer great deals, though sometimes they can prove more expensive than expedia and lastminute.com.

Read Tripadvisor for reviews - they tend to be pretty reliable.
