  1. Yahoo updated chess you now need the new version. But you have to remove the old one 1st.

normal clearing of cache does not remove game demos.(deleting browser history old files clearing cookies, ect)

They have to be deleted by manually selecting the Yahoo demo program

click start button,,search, click on files/folders, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it then click remove. Next trip to chess it will prompt you to download the new demo of yahoo's newest version of chess.

A few people are having a problem with the above method. If so use this method! : Go to; tools on your tool bar, select Internet options, browser history, settings button,,view objects. Select the game; chess, then delete it. All your yahoo games demo's should be there,,spades euchre ect

  2. cleared cache, history all that.the only thing that did work was to unistall flash player 9 for 7.yahoo chess worked, but other sites and aps that require flash 9 WONT. PLEASE YAHOO DO SOMETHING.

  4. Goo can help you. Recently Yahoo updated their chess software and you now need the new version. The first thing you will have to do is remove the old software. Standard clearing the cache does not remove game demos.(deleting browser history old files clearing cookies, etc) They have to be deleted by selecting the Yahoo demo program. First click start button, then search, click on files/folders, type in yahoo chess. When file comes up, right click on it and then click remove. Next time you visit Yahoo chess it will prompt you to download the new demo of Yahoo's newest version of chess. Some folks are having a problem with the above procedure. If you did, please try this instead: Go to tools on your tool bar, then select internet options, browser history, settings button, view objects. Select the game chess and then delete it. Good Luck.

  5. Ok, I'm assuming that you are running windows and this is a computer chess game.  Try uninstalling then reinstalling the game.  My answer could be more specific if you told me what OS and what game.  Hope this helps!
