The chlorine makes my hair dry and damaged?

I'm on a competitive swim team and I love it. The part I don't love is the damage chlorine does to my hair! I currently use Quantum Clarifying Shampoo with Brilliant Brunette Conditioner but I don't like it..

I've decided on using Head and Shoulders Smooth and Silky as my conditioner, but I was looking for a clarifying shampoo similar to Quantum, that smells like either peaches or strawberry. hehe =]

PLEASE HELP

  1. use a bathing cap

  2. Best shampoo to use is the Malibu 2000 Well Water or swimmer's shampoo.

There's a few steps to go about keeping your hair in tip top condition, go read up this site:

I've tried it myself and it works great.

  3. Try V05 they have a strawberries&cream shampoo and conditioner that smells verryy good and its cheap but works well. If you want something good to repair the damage try biosilk silk therapy its pricey but works.Or just use a hair mask weekly, which are sold by multiiple brands.

  4. N ur case I wud suggest that u use the same kind of shampoo and conditioner thats a smarter decision. Also if that shampoo isn't working 4 u, u shud def. change ur shampoo.

  5. im on a swim team too and what i did was put some conditioner in my hair before i get in. after i use redken clarity shampoo with any conditioner from the redken line. they all work really well. o and it doesnt matter what conditioner u use before. and if you want your hair to be really smooth use swim and sport shampoo and conditioner before you use the redken stuff

    hope this helps
