  1. Sorry, no references but studies have shown that if you place an aggravated person inside a pink room, they seem to calm down quicker than any other coloured room.  However, if you leave the person inside that pink room for an extended period of time the aggravation returns stronger.  I think it was for over a period of 20 minutes.

  2. i hope not! that was my favorite color when i was 3!!

  3. I hope not. It's my mother's favorite color. I like all shades of red, pink and orange. You'd have to pay me to even wear a yellow T. I don't like to stand out, and yellow to me stands out more than any other color.

  4. who said that

  5. for me it is death, every time i allmost die i see yellow in a dream. all the dream is yellow.uck

  6. There is the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (a REALLY GOOD short story, I might add).

    According to Wikipedia.org,

"Near the end of the 19th century, the color yellow was often associated with mental illness, specifically including insanity, and with other sorts of mental problems (e.g. depravity)"

Other than that, I've not heard of any other associations between yellow and insanity.

  7. I don't think there is an association between yellow and insanity, I could be wrong though. I tried looking it up, I didn't see any studies or even theories that support that, but I didn't look long.
