The colour on my sony trinitron tube tv is a little pinkish in hue. Is there something wrong with it?

Ive tried colour control but that just makes it a deeper or lighter shade and does not bring a different hue

I doubt there is anything wrong with it, if you find the colour tint annoying, return the tv and get a different one.  Some tvs I've seen at stores have that.

The Tint Control changes the hue of the color. It is a separate button/control adjustment.
