  1. More than likely stay as they are but you signed a

contract with old employer if a new one come

in most likely they will offer a contract on different terms

could mean a drop in pay or redeployment.

  2. nope cos they have taken over your contract too so things should stay the same - to change your job title or salary they would have to offer a new contract

if there is any problem quote TUPE at them - you will have to look up exactly what it is but they will know

  3. No they can't do anything.  You have continuity of employment and contract.

  4. The first 2 answers above are correct- everything legally has to carry over to the new employers.

Ignore the bloke above who reckons they can mess with your contract.

We have been taken over twice now, and everything follows TUPE. Google it if you're unsure.

  5. Its not the new owner you should be worried about. He will want the old owner to make all those he doesn't want, redundant, then the new owner will not have any major redundancies on the books, because all takeovers require redundancies in order to make the sort of profits the new owner wants.
