I'm a Production Manager for a medical device manufacture. Started @ 18 and worked my way up to management. Now @ 29 I don't have but a few community college classes under my belt.

Any advice?

  1. You should always be looking for and preparing for your next job (opportunity).

The lack of a degree will make it tougher for you.

However I would hope that you have developed contacts in the industry. Your "old boy network" and contact list are an important asset in you future.

Time to get started preparing now.

  2. Buy the business. It would be a great opportunity for you. Discuss the possiblities with the owned, maybe you can work out a deal. You never know until you ask. Good luck.
