  1. It depends on the level of social deviance.  Anything out of the ordinary is considered deviant, however, society was built by deviants and limits were stretched.  However, murderers are also deviants...so yea...i could go on all day.


  2. Deviance is a word that encompasses anti social behavior.  It is not a myth. Prisons are filled with social deviants.  It is a very complicated dynamic.  Drug addicts are deviant.  Murder is deviant, there is a fuzzy edge to the limits that encompass what behavior is seen as deviant.  As well, each dominant culture has it's own edges to define social limits.  But in our society, if ones overt or irresponsible behavior results in harming another, that is deviant behavior.

  4. this statement is very vague...as one knows most if not all things in psych. and soc. are relative...one can only give an opinion ,an educated one. Deviance is a relative idea...
