The condesation pipe from my a/c (PVC) is stopped up and it is rather long and it goes to the floor drain?

The water is coming up from the top of the pipe and is dripping down on the air celaner. How do I unclog the PVC pipe so it stops overflowing?

  1. Hopefully you have a shop vac. If so, you can suck the clog out of the pvc. It is not a "hard" clog. It will suck out easy. Or... you can put the hose on the exhaust side of the vac and blow the clog out.


  2. I agree with unclogging the PVC pipe however I would take 2 other precautions to prevent overflowing in the future.  1.  take a garden hose and run it along the same route as the pvc pipe as a backup method.  2.  Install a more powerfull pump.

  3. If you can get to it and attach a garden hose to it, you can flush it out that way.
