  1. I am a very good writter and could provide legal answers as well.

  2. if it's like a mom and pop store, it could end up being the demise of the business if it's frequent. but the chains, they barely even notice, and to be honest, shoplifting helps, because if you're dumb enough to get caught, the consequences are EXTREME.

my friend stole a pair of pants from mervyn's,a nd was apprehended. she got a 250$ fine, plus court costs, plus the cost of the pants (40$) and then community service. 32 hours.

  3. ha i had to do the same type of stuff when i was 16.

well as far as i can remember, its something like basically shoplifting can put a store out of business. they have to pay for the losses when they do stock and stuff. yeah when i was a kid i shoplifted too. now im grown and i realize just how stupid that was. luckily i got off really easy like you did

  4. Economically, shop lifting negatively effects the economy by driving up prices for the consumers who have the good sense to purchase the things they need. The store that was stolen from paid for the goods. Because they were stolen, they lost money. Therefore, they raise the prices on their stock to cover losses by theft. As such, when I go do my weekly grocery shopping, I have to spend more money to get the things I need.

  5. Death by electric chair.  If you don't agree, then maybe you should do your own essay assignment.

  6. okay well i think the first time its a warning...then after that jail idk its different in many states

but economically it steals money from the economy?
