The constellation leo?

so im not a nerd. or a geek. or anything. im not sciencey either. i just wanna kno. so imma a leo and i was wondering if it was possible to see the whole leo constellation and if it is then when?

  1. If you're at mid-northern latitudes, it will be high overhead in the winter and spring. Look for a backwards question mark in the sky.


  2. The best time to see Leo is in late winter and spring.

  3. In early spring, spot the 'Big dipper' first. Right to its south by about 40d, you'll find the lion clearly facing East ('right', if North is behind your head). First 6 stars like a Q mark seen in a mirror at the foot of which is the 20th brightest 'Regulus'. To the left (about 25d) is a west-pointing triangle that can be seen as its hind legs (one hiding the other) and tail at a slant.

    it is too near to the Sun for observing.
