    Just a simple tip that will help with these kinds of questions about terminology: The prefix pro- or proto- means "early", so if you ever have a series of steps, the terms with these prefixes are most likely the earlier steps.

    prophase- DNA condenses into visible chromosomes

    prometaphase- nuclear envelope break apart

    metaphase- chromosomes line up in a relatively straight line in the center of the cell(s)

    anaphase- chromosomes are pulled apart

    telophase- nuclei reform and DNA is no longer visible
