  1. The majority of international students are self-supporting meaning they rely on the funds of their parents, other family member and the savings which they have accumulated themselves. Some internationals students are awarded scholarships and others take out personal loans from the bank to cover parts of their tuition costs. Not everyone can afford to study in another country and this is one of the reasons that many people do not do so.

The cost of tuition and living expenses including rent, bills, medical insurance, groceries, books etc in the United States varies between US$18,000 to US$45,000 per year! This obviously depends on which state or city you choose to live in, the university you study at and the program that you studying.

  2. I paid for my own education at the University of Texas by working at Pizza Hut at nights..

The cost was $6,000 per year.. However, our public universities in the US are partially funded by taxpayers so it would cost foreigners $38,000 per year. For that kind of money you would be better off going to a private university.

You can either get a scholarship or a student loan. I would go check out student loans. If your grades are decent there are tons of companies who would be willing to loan you the money. Also, lots of public universities in the US are cheaper than UT so I don't want you to be scared off..

In 7 years you could become a dual citizen of the US/UK and choose to pay taxes here. It would be hard to pay off a student loan and pay British taxes at the same time. After all your taxes already pay for you to go to school.

  3. it can go from thousands to hundred thousands (20,000 to 500,000) depending on ur college n if u got scholoshipss :]
