  1. You have to be "new school" to be competitive. You have to change with the times. Technology only progresses, and you have to" ride that wave."

  2. Ive watched Nascar since 1997. And the car has changed alot more than most people think, every 2-3 years they seem to make major changes.. but in 2007 with the COT thats been one of the biggest changes in a long time. So im use to seeing changes and its necessary to keep the drivers safe... just wait a year or so and the drivers will adapt to the new cars and will be able to drive much better.

  3. I have been a NASCAR fan for short number of years, but I am a die hard fan. I am not the type of person who likes change, so when I first seen the COT run last year I was dead set against it. At this point in the 08 season, I am kind of enjoying. I was really impressed @ Talladega!

But, I honestly dont think its the car, I believe its all in the driver :D

  4. i really like it. it keeps our favorite drivers safe, and i like the way they race. well, i've have been watching it for about 5 years... so i guess i'm a new school fan.

  5. the COT has potential...we've seen it makes for awesome racing at the Superspeedways and short tracks..but leaves a lot to be desired at the intermediates.

it was supposed to equalize the competition, but it seems the same teams are still running up front/winning.  Maybe as the teams have more time to get it right, it will close the gap.

But for me, the intermediate track racing right now NEEDS to addressed.  It's so boring.

  6. Gotta agree on the plate tracks and short tracks. When they get the intermediates figured out(remember this is the first year they are running it on them), the racing will get better. From the safety standpoint it's done really well. Been watching since GM ran E-Body Monte Carlos and Grand Prixs so since the mid-80's

  7. The COT is a double edged sword in my opinion, but as the Pres said, it has potential.

I've been a die hard fan since about 86', so I guess that's old school.
