In my state it's called comprehensive.

For damage to other people's property, it's "property damage liability".  For damage to YOUR car, it's "collision" and "comprehensive".

Well its basically included in your liability insurance co. like in  my state we are inforced 25/50/10 for liabiltiy which covers per person/per accident/per property damage..in any damages you cause though!. comprehensive is basically anything other then collision so if a tree were to fall on the car then youd be covered if you have comp/and collision included, so lets say you have 500 comp/collision then 500 you would pay to get your vehicle fixed or replaced depending on the situation!!! any other questions, Im an insurance agent...
