The difference between a honda shadow and a honda magna 900v?

I am trying to figure out the difference beween the honda magna i recently accuired and a honda shadow and i cannot find any information on the honda magna that is relevent to my questions can anyone help me out?

There is no 900cc magna if that's what 900 means in the title...

honda magna=4 cylinders, high-revving

shadow=2 cylinders, more low end power

magna-very very sporty cruiser

shadow-your more typical and economical cruiser

The biggest thing is the number of cylinders.  Twins are not built for performance.  They're built only so that it looks like a Harley.  There's no other purpose for the arrangement of the Shadow engine.
