  1. The Advanced Format is for Tournament Legal decks and the Tradition Formal is cards that are not useable in tournaments.

  2. adv = advance

    trad = tradatio0nal

    now adv format is where there is a lsit u must follow u r only allowed 1 copy of certain cards 2 copys of another set and 1 set u r allowed none of

    1. forbidden

    2. limited

    3 semi limited

    now when u pplay trad all yo banned cards u r now allowed 1 of ( limited )

  3. Advanced is for tournaments.  Traditional is for everyday dueling, like at home.  Anywho, I go by Advanced, but that just depends on who you go against.  (some people think Traditional is unfair)

  4. there are 2 different sets, there are some tourments that are traditional and arn't advance basically there are no forbidden cards expect the gods in traditional, but therse is a restricked list, were in advance they put a banned on a lot of cards in the games, so in advance there are like 100 cards you can't use.
