  1. West Coast Offence is primarily an offence that focuses on throwing, where East Coast Offence is focuses on running mostly

  2. they throw and run the ball east in the west coast offense and throw and run the ball west in the east coast offense

  3. west coast offense is more aired out as in which east coast offense is more grounded

for example pats and colts are more west coast jags are more east coast

  4. lol theres no such thing as east coast offense. they just call one west coast becasue it was bill walsh who came up with it while coaching san fran.

  5. I'm with Lions Fan....I've never heard of East Coast offense.  Not sure where you guys have heard that term before.  But the West Coast offense was coined in the old 'Niners days with Bill Walsh.  It basically uses alot of short passes.  Shorter passes with higher chances for completions.  Not exactly an air it out system like some have said...that implies alot of receivers and deep passes alot too...which isn't what the West Coast offense is about.
