M'mk nost of the time I dream in black and white and remember them. So, when I wake up and can't remember them I've always presumed that they weren't in colour, and so I'm curious as to why I only remeber my colour dreams...

Most recently I had gone to Six Flags Magic Mountain and about half way through I had major Deja vu for the rest of the trip. And I had known that I'd never been there before.

My dreams usually are real but everything I remember are details that could actually happen. Last night for instance I was at a lake and yet where I was was a real place because it was my grandmother's house, but she doesn't live near a lake.

As I've said I don't remember any of my black and white dreams.

So I'm trying to figure out why I have dreams like this.

Anyone that would like to help, would be thanked bunches.

  1. I've never had dreams in color, they've always been in black and white.  I've never been able to smell in dreams either.  Maybe it's opposite of how you day dream, because I always imagine smells and imagine in color.

  2. with color you will remember many more details than with black and white making the color ones more easily rememberable for want of a better term.

And if you can only remember color dreams than how do you no you've had a b&w dream?lol jk.

sorry. that answer was kinda weak

  3. About 95 % of my dreams are in color I would have to say, but I remember probably all of my dreams, whether there in black and white or in color.

You will tend to remember the dreams you've had that are closer to the time you wake up. Supposedly your dreams only last a few seconds, but I beg to differ on that, lol

Plus I've heard that you can't dream until you get to a realm sleep, which takes about 2-3 hours, that is also not true. I 've had dreams and I've only been asleep for like 1/2 hr to 45 min's.

  4. Colors in dreams represent energy, emotions, and vibes. First consider what that single color in your dream means to you and your own personal associations and relationship with that color.

To dream in color and then dream in black and white, suggests that you are starting to look at a situation from a more objective perspective instead of from an emotional standpoint. You are subconsciously reacting to events in the dream.
