  1. Generally more healthy.  Less oils, fats, etc then Chinese or Japanease food.


  2. Korean cuisine tends to pickle/ ferment alot of side dishes called "bahn-chan", and alot if not most dishes are spicy.

    Vegetables are also a staple diet. Although we're not known as vegetarians by any means.

  5. Koreans eat more pickled items, and more little dishes to go with food. Its Japanese influences include kimbap, the use of seaweed, and using Japanese ingredients like shiso leaves. Its Chinese influences include using a lot of garlic and chili, as well as a lot of noodle dishes and pickled dishes. Overall, Korean cuisine is a combination of both cuisines. For example, Kimbap is the Korean version of Japanese maki and jangjangmyun is the Korean version of Chinese black bean noodles.
