Hi all,

I am totally disgusted with the service I receive and see others receive.... usually I see it few times a month which is ridiculous but 3 times within the week is too much

I will be contacting the bus company to complain about the situation....

INCIDENT 1: I buy a weekly unlimited ticket for travel for all buses in my area and use it to get to and from the town(S) and yesterday the bus driver told my friend (who was ahead of me in the queue) that our ticket wont work on that bus from our ocation to the main bus station but we could use it from the bus station (how does that mae sense) any way my friend was polite but the bus driver was causing such a scene over the ticket that my friend was totally embarrased and asked how much the ticket was so we could just get going and s I did not have to walk to the bus station to met him I therefore paid also...

  1. skip the bus company they wont do nowt.get in touch with the national transport agency to log your complaint.it is quite common for the bus drivers to skim a little in to there pocket if you watch them it goes into the shirt pocket if they are skimming.

  2. Do ring the bus company. If you check your ticket there should be a phone number to call on it. this should get you to the right place. If not call the company ask for the customer care section and go from there. dont ask for manager, no point, as its there job to take the details and pass it to the correct place(including a manager) you must tell them about the 0.00 ticket as the driver is most likely up to no good. When you speak to them ask them to contact you with there findings. but dont expect much, but trust me they will deal with it but they cant tell you what exactly they will do to the drivers.

  3. I would not take anybus if I didn't have to there is nothing wrong with it exept for the pigs who ride it. There are plenty of very nice people but the jerks ruin what may be quite  a nice ride...

  4. It depends on the operator - the ARRIVA managers always reply if you use the website - however the replys are absoloute nonsence. Just make sure it's the right operator and you'll be fine

  5. i would definatley complain. phone the bus company and ask to speak to the depot manager. if you still have your ticket the driver gave you, hold on to it , as up here, the drivers number is on it so the boss can find out who the driver was through that.

  6. Sounds as if you live in Sheffield, where South Yorkshire County Council have imposed astronomic increases in the charges they impose to use their bus stations. Moreover, these increases have been applied retrospectively.

The bus companies are responding by passing on these increased charges to those passengers who actually use the bus stations.

If you think that the South Yorkshire County Council are justified, consider walking into Tesco and, at the checkout, being charged an extra 50 pence for the Easter Egg that you purchased last Easter !!

  7. Don't send a letter of complaint anyhow, they always seem to "lose" them.

Ring the Bus company and ask to speak to the manager regarding a complaint you have.

Tell the manager all that you have told us.

  8. write into local and national newspapers, sending evidence (photocopy of you 0.00 ticket??). Send letters as the company HAS to kepp a record of hardcopies by law. And phone them. If your willing write into your local MP and councillors as they are usually quite helpful.
