this is more of a math question, but anyway.. picometers are at 10 to the exponent -12 (meaning.000000000001 m )whilst a centimeter is 10 to the exponent -2 (.01 m) . It's just a matter of moving decimal places.

the value you quote would be

1.54 nm 154pm
