  1. I can never tell with these. If it makes you feel any better, usually when they tell you its a girl, its a girl. When they tell you its a boy, it can be a girl. Mistakes are often made when it is a girl, but they tell you its a boy.

  2. i see a hamburger .. you are having a girl.notice the 3 lines.. if it were a boy it would be waaaaaaaaaaay obvious

  3. Yep that's a girl. The magical three lines are present.  I'm a nurse and I've seen enough of them to know. Plus they wouldn't announce it unless they were sure.

    Congrats!

Just in case you don't believe me here are my two of my daughter:

(to the middle and to the left you will see those same three lines as in your pic)

(and then on this one there's an arrow pointing to her three lines)

PS- She's 18 months old so the ultrasound was definitely right and she was a girl.

  4. Definitely looks like a girl to me!! Congrats!

id go get a 4d u/s if you are really worried..

  7. I'm 34 weeks and 1 day and i have an ultrasound picture like the 2nd one and they told me i was having a girl!

  8. Actually, I've found the opposite of the above to be true.  When the radiologist says boy it's probably a boy.  When they say girl there is more room for error because of the way the baby is sitting.  Since your baby has the legs extended there is less of a chance the p***s is resting on the thighs.  By the 'three lines' the radiologist is referring to why she thinks it's a girl.  Sometimes they'll say I see a 'hotdog bun' or a 'turtle' for a boy.  I'd bank on a girl based on what I'm seeing

  9. This is a hard one because there arent 3 distinct lines.  I was told at 20 weeks that I was having a girl, and at 30 weeks, there was a BIG p***s in our ultrasound.  It just so happened that the baby was in an akward position and his testicles had not dropped yet.  I was told by our sonographer that at 20 weeks there is a lot of room for error in reading an ultrasound to determine gender, and it is best to wait until you are further along to determine the gender of your baby.  The only way to 100% tell for sure if it is a boy or a girl is by doing a CVS or an Amniocentisis, or you could just wait until your baby is born.  I would buy everything gender neutral until you can get another ultrasound or a more close up shot of the goods.  Congrats on the new baby!!!
