  1. If you have asthma and eczema, then my thinking is the doctor wants to see you for a checkup to make sure that the medications you are taking are appropriate for you and that they are working the way they should. It's nothing to be concerned about- it's just a follow up to your previous visits. Medication monitoring is part and parcel of the care of any patient who has asthma, because it's a chronic health condition which can easily get out of hand. Ditto for eczema, which is a chronic skin problem. My brother in law has this problem, and my nephews are likely to suffer from it as they get older- there is some evidence that it may be genetic.

I wouldn't worry about this, if I were you. This is just a request for a routine checkup.

  2. A Check Up Maybe

  3. Are you pregnant?? If so call and ask the doctor why you have an appt, they will tell you!!!

okay i was jw bc it was in the wrong section, but im sure its just a check up, i have eczema too and i had to go to the doctor a good bit about mine, esp when it was summer time! Hope this helped :)

    GOD BLESS

  4. i have exama too!!!!

  5. If it's a repeat prescription, it could just be a check up to make sure everything's fine. I used to get the same prescription for my skin and every so often my doctor would request an appointment just to make sure that my skin was clearing up and I was okay. Chances are it's nothing to worry about - just make it :)

  6. Probably because a GP can only prescibe medication for a limited period of time before they need to actually see you and review the situation. Call them and ask!!!

  7. Dont worry hun its prob just a check up - height weight blood pressure etc... if you're really worried, ring them and ask what its for xx

  8. Hun when you receive certain medications you sometimes have to go for a check up to see if your meds are still working and doing what they are supposed to, if you have not been for a while this is also why they ask, if i have not been in so many months i also get sent for and im 33 ..don't worry x

  9. maybe it is just a checkup..?

  10. Many doctors like to keep an eye on their patients, especially if it is a new doctor who hasn't seen you before.  How long are you getting repeats for?  The doctor might feel that it would be better to see how you are doing rather than just prescribing for you without an examination.  Don't worry - it's nothing sinister - they probably want to check your breathing and see how you respond to your medication.

  11. Ask your mom what its about...it's hard to tell.

  12. could just be a checkup
