The doctor told my friend that he had to take his clothes off?

My friend who is a guy went to the doctor's office for a Physical or a Check-up i don't really remember. After that i was talking to him and he told me that the doctor who was a girl told him to take all his clothes off.

He is 16

Is this legitimate ?

Do every guy after reaching a certain age needs to have a full body check up like the one my friend had?

Yes, this was a legitimate check-up. He probably had on a gown so he wasn't in the complete nude, but being nude is necessary. Though it's a female, she's authorized to run the exam and it's okay. Yes, every male has to have a check-up like this at least once a year to make sure his testicles are fine and there are no abnormalities. Hope this helps.

Yeah, they have to check for a hernia by feeling your balls and having you cough. Mine was much younger than 16, but whatever your doctor's gender it has to be done.

1 - Yes it's legits & Yes it's good 2 have it done (checked) once every  year & more often when U get older.

3 - He or she have 2 check just 2 make sure that everything is okay down there.
